Who leads the career NBA record in free throws? Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf got the extra point 90.5% of the time. Stephen Curry currently surpasses that at 90.8%. But First Peek Ultrasound makes the shot more often than that.
If you are 3 standard deviations above the mean, you are above 99.7% of the rest, or Michael-Jordan tall. Our gender check accuracy rate kicks the bell curve's behind.
Even Ivory Soap, which is 99.44% pure, is no match against our gender check guarantee.
24 karat gold is required to be 999 parts of 1000, or 99.9% pure, otherwise known as "3 nines fine." Our gender check accuracy rate can best be compared to 24K gold.
Sterling silver is 92.5% silver. Our gender check accuracy rate surpasses the purity of sterling silver.
Why are your gender checks so cheap?
In 2009, we were the first 3D ultrasound studio in the nation to bring the price of our gender checks down to $39 so that most pregnant women could afford to get one (elsewhere, they were $89 to $99). We have raised our price over the years to $59 since then. We have been able to bring this wonderful experience to more pregnant women and their families as a result.
What is your gender check guarantee?
If we are unable to determine the gender of your baby, you can come back for free until we do. This is our Gender Check Guarantee. See our Gender Check Guarantee page for more information.
At First Peek Ultrasound, we have been at the forefront of checking gender checks as early as 15 weeks.
If you are traveling from far or if it is difficult for you to make more than one visit to our ultrasound studio, then we recommend that you wait until you are at least 17 weeks before getting our Gender Check 3D ultrasound package.
If you weigh over 300 pounds, we recommend that you wait until you are at least 17 weeks before getting our Gender Check 3D ultrasound package. However, if you can't wait to find out if you're having a boy or a girl, you are still welcome to come in as early as 15 weeks.
We will not determine the gender if you are less than 15 weeks. We will not even scan near the gender area. Each day makes a difference in the development of the baby. If you are 14 weeks and 6 days, we will ask you to come back the next day. Please do not try to fool us. Our ultrasound technicians are highly skilled and can tell the age of the baby from the size and bone structure of your baby. If you do come in hoping that we will tell you the gender before 15 weeks and we find out that you are less than 15 weeks, we will charge you the full price of the package for the time the technician spent but you will still not be able to find out the gender of your baby, and if you return after 15 weeks, you will still have to pay again for the session. The free return will not apply to you because our Gender Check Guarantee only applies after 15 weeks.
We must repeat - please do not try to fool us. Our technicians will know.
At 15 weeks, we are able to determine the gender on the first attempt91% of the time.
At 16 weeks, we are able to determine the gender on the first attempt 94% of the time.
At 17 weeks to 19 weeks, we are able to determine the gender on the first attempt 96% of the time.
At 20 weeks and beyond, we are able to determine the gender on the first attempt over 98% of the time.
If you are traveling from far or if it is otherwise difficult for you to make more than one visit to our ultrasound facility, then we recommend that you wait until you are 17 weeks.
In the spirit of transparency in the accuracy of our gender checks, we plan on publicly displaying our gender check accuracy rate here on our website. We hope that other 3D ultrasound facilities across the United States follow our example. See the side bar to see why we call it our 24-karat gender check accuracy rate.
